The story in Genesis 22:1-14 is when God said to Abraham: "Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah, sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about." (Genesis 22:2)
So Abraham left early the next morning, with two servants a donkey and wood for the burnt offering. When they arrived near the mountain he said to the two servants wait here with the donkey while the boy and I will worship God and we will be back. Abraham obeyed God because he had complete trust in God. Abraham believed God can do anything, and He can raise the dead, even though there was no evidence that could raise the dead this earl in the Bible. Abraham also held on to the promise that God said his offspring would come through Isaac.
Hebrew 11:17-19
"By Faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had received the promises was about tho sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had said to him, "It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned." Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death."
Do you have complete trust in God? Trust me I know it is not easy to trust. Because of my past I like to in control, but when I decided to completely trust God, Could God start to work in my life and change me from the inside out.
Philippians 1:6
"God began doing a good work in you, and I am sure He will continue it until it is finished when Jesus Christ comes again."
When you start to trust God and spend more time with Him, He will change you and we will see God's finger prints in your life.
